As part of my business, I often visit classrooms and youth groups to present on bees. Over the years I have developed various strategies for teaching children, but my favorite has been a game I call, “The Story of Bees”. The kids and I pretend to be a swarm of bees and act out the jobs of the worker bees. They get to run and buzz and sing as they learn real bee facts. It has been a huge hit with the kids.

So, in late 2016, I decided to make this game available to other beekeepers and educators by turning it into a physical product. I had did a modest print run of the game and put it up for sale in my online shop. Lots of people have been writing to me to tell me their success stories using the game to teach and early this year the game sold out. Since then, I have been struggling to gather the funds needed to print more. Every week people ask me when it will be back in stock. Finally, I decided to do a fundraiser to make it happen.
